3 Healthy Poolside Snacks

Summer will soon be coming to a close, but you still have plenty of time to enjoy afternoons at the pool! Make the most of it with healthy poolside snacks for your kids, or for yourself! With healthy choices by the pool, you’ll feel full longer and have more energy for fun!

Homemade Trail Mix

Trail Mix is so customizable! You can add anything you’d like and the possibilities are truly endless, but we do have a few ideas for you.

Sweet ‘n Salty:

Add salted peanuts, raisins, dark chocolate chips, roasted cashews, and almonds.

Party Time:

Add granola, cashews, chocolate candy, and almonds.

Feelin’ Full:

Add sunflower seeds, cashews, almonds, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and raisins.

Homemade Popsicles

Like trail mix, homemade popsicles are a treat that you can customize however you like! You can use an ice cube tray to make small on the go treats, or you can invest in a popsicle tray to create full-size popsicles.

Blackberry and Grape:

There are only 2 ingredients, blackberries and grapes! Ensure that there are no stems on the grapes. Rinse the fruit and put it in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain for juice or leave as is for more a textured popsicle! Freeze for 6 hours. Enjoy!

Cantaloupe Popsicles:

Dice up cantaloupe and put it in a food processor until it has a puree texture. Thinly slice up your strawberries. Pour some cantaloupe puree into the popsicle mold, then add strawberry slices. Then pour more cantaloupe puree over the strawberries to fill the popsicle mold. Freeze for at least 4 hours and then enjoy!

Coconut Milk & Honey Popsicles:

Stir coconut milk and melted raw honey in a bowl. Pour into popsicle molds. Feel free to add shredded coconut for a little something extra. Let molds sit in the freezer for 4 hours, then enjoy!

Homemade Vegetable Dips

Herb Dip:

½ sour cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon dill weed

1 teaspoon tarragon leaf

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

1 tablespoon chopped chives

¼ teaspoon paprika

salt & pepper, to taste


Mix all ingredients together, refrigerate for 3 hours and serve with raw vegetables!

BLT Dip:

1 box of dry leek soup mix

½ cup mayonnaise

16 oz of sour cream

1 tomato, chopped finely

crumbled Bacon, as much as you prefer!

Mix all the ingredients together. Let chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and serve with slices veggies!
